I appreciate your comments about Jenn. Examples: I agree her saying 'we dropped her off at school' and then immediately clarifying that she was not present; and when she was wrong about Maddie's clothing, points more to her innocence than guilt. I think Stephan may have told her the information he wanted the police to know, and then convinced her it was better off if the information was coming from her because she was the mother, and they might suspect him if he did more talking than she did. Whether or not she was complacent or complicit in Maddie's ongoing abuse, I sincerely doubt she knew anything about the murder.

Great soundtrack! I was imagining the Jaws soundtrack, but yours was much better. Also, you may have changed my mind about JS being involved in Maddie's death. I believe that she was 100% guilty of the abuse charges, but maybe not the actual death. However, had she never allowed that monster into that child's bed, she would probably be here now. Great work. Your timelines, etc,😊 are second to none! 

Stephen family are crazy and he made his relationship with Jen and Maddy life into a crazy place. They seem like mountain 🏔️ people

The thing I can’t get past with Jen is that she said she saw Maddie getting dressed for school around 8 that morning. That cannot possibly be true. She was already dead by then. Then the whole thing about we dropped her off - my partner dropped her off. I think she was getting her lies mixed up. If I went to pick up my kid at school and they weren’t there, I would fly into that school. Jen said she emailed the teacher. WTH. No one can be naive enough to let their preteen and teenage daughter sleep with a grown man. Insane. I’m not buying it. I could easily convict her of at least accessory to murder. I live in the area, and I guess there goes my chance of being on that jury even though I would love to. 😫

Regarding the "black shorts" comment, it proves that Jenn has guilty knowledge. If you believe she truly knew nothing, then she was a parent who truly thought her daughter was missing at that point in time, right? So, if you thought your child was missing somewhere out there, and you know you DIDN'T SEE your child that morning, why would you FABRICATE what she was wearing to the COPS? Why would you contradict the person (SS) who DID see her that morning? The black shorts interjection proves Jenn knew her daughter was dead. Because if Jenn thought her daughter was alive and she was trying to find her, she's not going to LIE and say she saw her at 8am if she didn't, and she's not just gonna make up some BS outfit to derail the cops. She knew Maddie was dead, she knew SS killed her, and all her bizarre and ever-changing stories were attempts to cover it up on SS's behalf and bolster his alibi.

She clearly lied during the course of the investigation. At first “we” dropped her off, and “she was wearing black shorts” (inferring she had ABSOLUTELY seen her that morning), and then, within minutes, she distanced herself - “I didn’t drop her off, I didn’t even see her that morning, I saw her the night before - and the last thing I told her was goodnight.” So she was part of the cover up. MAYBE it was because Stearns threatened her “this is our story” - but the fact that she jumped in to correct Stearns on something suggests it was both of their stories - they both conspired to come up with a narrative. She lied about the pants/shorts thing because the truth will out in one way or another - and guilt/guilty knowledge makes people accidentally tell on themselves.
